NAZI GERMAN AUTO LICENSE PLATE TAG DISK 1930-40's #297

This Is an original item from the 1930's or 1940's and not a more recent replica, copy or reproduction. This is a metal disk that was riveted to a vehicle's license plate. It probably identified the town or area that the car was registered in? It appears to be made out of aluminium.
